In support of the Republic of Kosovo and countries of the region, the Council for Regional Co-operation, supported by the European Union, has launched an initiative to open green corridors aimed at the possibility of free circulation of necessary goods.
At today's regional meeting through a conference video with Ministry officials, the Regional Co-operation Council has announced pledges to create green corridors that enable free circulation of essential goods, including wheat and flour. Proposals by the International Secretariat of the Transport Community and the CEFTA Secretariat are discussed at this meeting to establish green corridors within the territory of the Western Balkans (see corridors on map) “- reports the Ministry of Economy forwards Klan Kosova.
The ministry announces that close co-operation and communication with relevant actors in the local and regional market are under way and with state mechanisms to provide bread for citizens during the pandemic period.
