European Integration Minister Blerim Reka's proposal that under the final agreement with Serbia, it could be given the Trans Corridor for exit to the Adriatic Sea via Kosovo, it has awakened the opposition's response in Kosovo.
They are demanding the resignation of Minister Reka, as they are considering mourning a devastating solution for Kosovo, thus enabling Serbia to realise the temporary efforts to break up the state of Kosovo, writes Periscope.
The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, former Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, through a public reaction has said that Minister Reka should resign immediately, even before it is requested. Minister Haradinaj's proposal views it as very dangerous, which according to him enables Serbia to invade Arberit '%s' lands.
European Integration Minister Mr. Reka has proposed compromise with Serbia, which is giving the transit corridor to the Adriatic or returning Kosovo to Serbia and opening the way for Serbia to enter Albania as well. This second devastating offer enables Serbia to enter Albania and realise its century-old dream of occupying the lands of araber”, Haradinaj wrote.
Reka's statement views the Democratic Party of Kosovo as disturbing and dangerous.
The PDK through a media response has said that with this idea it would become extraordinary favour to Serbia, until the existence of the state of Kosovo was jeopardised.
“As a compromise on the final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, Vetevendosje Minister has proposed that Serbia open the corridor for access to the Adriatic Sea. This idea of Vetevendosje's minister is the rehabilitation of all Serbian historic efforts, since Nearertanje, Balkan wars, Nikola Passic's projects, Jovan Cvijqi, and Ivo Andric, to undo not only Kosovo, but also the Albanian state”, is said in the PDK's response.
According to the PDK, Serbian ideologist Cvijiq, seeking to reason on the annexation of northern Albania and on the Adriatic Sea, had called this step an economic interest and anti-ethnographic imperative. The PDK has called Reca's idea even anti-national proposal.
The dangerous “in content for the Albanian nation, denying the state of Kosovo and promoting the realisation of Serbian historic aspirations for the creation of Greater Serbia, with access to the Adriatic Sea. The PDK will not allow any ideas that violate Kosovo's state and sovereignty. Prime Minister Kurti urgently needs to react to the immediate dismissal of Minister Blerim Reka and distance himself from such an anti-national stance”, the PDK's response said. /Periscopi/
