The head of Kline municipality, Zenun Elezaj, has said that since this town was quarantined after presenting the first case with Coronavirus, the situation is calm.
The citizens are aware and restricting their movements by respecting the government's decision. The measures that have been taken is the effective QKMF service, The KSF has brought a tent that we've put in front of the entrance and we're making the selection of visitors to get an anamnosis about which one can have symptoms of Coronavirus and who are of everyday need. The aid was two days ago we took masks and gloves and no other assistance was given by the Government”, Elesaj said.
He has called on the Government to help the medical staff of this municipality again.
“Rather, we need safeguards for the health staff. Their numbers are at minimum. Health staff is also in panic. It needs to start organizing from the Red Cross to distribute basic foods. There's staff for now. It's been reorganized. We don't have any concerns about staff”.
Elesaj has said he belongs to food so far, no lack of them has been observed in stores.
“The challenges are in the sense of movement, there are no shortages in marketing, but there are restrictions in motion. Social categories are more difficult, there are activities that don't work bar restaurants, there are only individual meetings, they're careful and I believe the situation is well managed”.
For the families who are affected, the Carita camp for them is providing for water supplies and other things. There is great interest in citizens who address us with certain demands. Emergency headquarters is doing their job. Citizens are understanding. Central should think about state reserves. There's no panic right now. We're managing the situation and citizens are the most deserving, they've figured out exactly what needs to be done”.
