Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has today ignored an important part of his daily agenda.
The chief of the Kosovo executive was scheduled for Friday for a serious telephone conversation, but it did not.
The number one Kosovo government has avoided a call from the leader of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), a government agency in the United States that spills millions of dollars in aid to Kosovo.
Kurti has refused to talk to MCC chief Sean Caircros, has learned Gazeta Express from its sources.
According to Gazeta Express's reliable sources, the senior US official has called Kurt several times during the day, but Kosovo's prime minister has not opened the phone.
The MCC) chief's conversation with Kurti, who the chief of Kosovo executive has ignored, has been meant to address the future of co-operation between the US government agency and the Kosovo government.
The MCC is scheduled to invest tens of millions of dollars in Kosovo, in various projects in the country.
According to Gazeta Express sources, in the conversation with Kurti, which was not realised, Caircros was planning to say something very important to Kosovo's prime minister.
Caircross, appointed by US President Donald Trump at the top of the MCC, would tell Kurti that if he continues not to listen to the U.S. appeal for full and unconditional removal of the fee on goods from Serbia, America would block funds for planned projects, Express has learned from its reliable sources.
