As the World Health Organization has named the pandervirus pandemi, the Government of Kosovo has taken measures against this deadly disease.
The Kosovo government has called an emergency meeting on Wednesday night. Prime Minister Albin Kurti and his ministers have gathered at 8:00. The minister of Health has appealed to citizens to maintain hygiene, while in many other parts of the world, greetings with hands are good to be avoided.
These are the measures of the Government of Kosovo against the Coronavirus:
The educational and private educational process company at all levels until 27 March 2020. The air and ground travel line is temporarily completed.
Obliged control of travelers from the KKMF medical teams at all entrances and exits of Kosovo with KP supporters.
Forced self-curement for all citizens entering the Kosovo area of high and medium-risk epidemics.
Public and non-public activities can be held closed without public presence.
Banning the activities of restaurants, nightclubs, gyms, swimming pools after 11:00 p.m. The export of equipment, materials and medical drugs is prohibited by economic operators and producers, except by Government decision.
All government institutions, as well as public and private companies, are forced to take measures for protection and disinfectment in all institutions under guidelines from the Ministry of Health, which deal with strengthened hygiene measures.
All public companies and private companies that conduct public transportation of travelers are obliged to make regular disinfectation of transport vehicles.
International organised transportation (autobus, minibus, and similar) is prohibited to high-risk countries and vice versa.
The deadly disease that has claimed thousands of lives in many parts of the world has not now been confirmed as reaching our country.
Although many citizens have so far been tested with suspicions that they have been affected by the Coronavirus, the results have shown that none of them have been infected by the disease origin of China.
