Istreff tells the reason for the raid: Telekom has been deceived by a company in Macedonia

For police action at the public company in Kosovo Telecom, which has occurred today, the head of this company, Bedri Istrefi, has told Kosovo the reasons for the raid that may be for a fraud that has been done to Telekom by a company in Macedonia at the time of former chief chief Agron Mustafa.

He said he has in his mandate made a criminal complaint about a fraud that has occurred to Kosovo Telekom, through a contract that was signed in 2015 or 2016 at the value of over 105 thousand euros.

“We have made a criminal complaint about a fraud that has happened to Kosovo Telekom. The contract is binding in 2015 or 2016, in the time of Agron Mustaf, and the debt has been carried year after year. We have had court orders for the execution of debt and in view of the financial situation Kosovo Telekom has. During this process we have encountered counterfeiting documents and initiated as the case immediately in the prosecutor”, Istrefi says of Kosova Prees.

He further said they are open for this case to dawn as soon as it is the process in the investigation phase.

While this raid has also been confirmed for Kosovo, Kosovo Police spokesman Baki Kelani has also confirmed.

“We can confirm that today, Kosovo Police based on the competent court's ordinance is conducting a” police operation, Kelani said.

He added that the details of this operation will be released after his end.
