India so far has 73 cases confirmed by the virus, the health ministry in India says, while news of the victim was confirmed Thursday.
Officials say he was examined at the airport when he arrived from Saudi Arabia, but showed no symptoms at the time, while after his health deteriorated last week, he was sent to the hospital.
