Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said he does not believe there will be sanctions from the US on the Republic of Kosovo.
Kurti has given this statement when asked about US Senator David Perdue's warning that if Kosovo does not remove the tax, the US should consider leaving their troops.
In addition, Kurti said that his plan to lift the fee could not be implemented for once because he wants a consensus within the government so that when this decision is voted in the country will receive unanimous support.
As for meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron Jan Hecker and Emmanuel Bone Kurti claimed this was a fruitful meeting.
He also, unlike President Hashim Thaci, who is sceptical, said he believes that by the EU and Western Balkans Summit, which will be held in May in Zagreb, there may be movement for abolishing visas for Kosovars.
