Overpasses and subpasses in Kosovo continue to be designed, built and not exploited by citizens, as experts say there is no actual study before their deployment and, as a result of being placed in inadequate countries, citizens are forced to avoid and cross the road even where they are not preemptived to pass.

And just by avoiding and not exploiting sub and crossing, pedestrians are becoming the cause of a large number of traffic accidents.

According to the Kosovo Police, traffic accidents in which pedestrians have been involved are high. In 2017 there are 44 dead people left in 2018, while 40 people are dead in 2019.

As for pedestrians who suffered traffic accidents, the number is even greater in 2017, 1322 cases were in 2018, 1225 cases, and in 2019 a total of 1093 cases of injury.

According to communications expert Visar Bajuk, the reason the footmen do not exploit the appropriate locations for crossing the road is due to the lack of proper planning of sub and crossing.

Bayuka pointed out for Kosova Press, that the expectations measures do not work, the obligation of police passage does not yield results, but that, according to him, prior to the deployment of these countries has had to be done properly, so as he said no work would come up here where we are today, where under and over the crossings are left unusable.

According to Bajuk, not using adequate pedestrian crossing sites is increasing the number of traffic accidents, and of the 100 percent are pedestrians.

Citizens who claim to avoid underpasses and overpasses feel the same way because of their being placed in wrong places, endangerment, and uncleanness.

Citizens Kemajl Ahmeti tells Kosova Prees that prior to the deployment or overpasses, there should be a test of how much circulation of citizens there is in that area. According to him, the crossings in Kosovo are set without making the country's proper analysis, and that for this reason they avoid the footpathies and have remained waste material.

Citizen Daut Morina shares the same opinion. He told Kosova Prees, that the underpasses that frequent many of the dirt, and at night there is no enlightenment. For overpasses, he pointed out that they are too high and that they contain the risk of pedestrians.

E Jeff Morina says that under and overpasses, he avoids them because of uncleanness and the way he says that they are built up. According to him, the material they're working on is not safe for citizens to pass.

That subpasses and overpasses have been placed in the wrong places do not even think Habib Qorri, from the public service sector in the Pristina municipality, which declared for Kosovo Pristina, that prior to the deployment of the latter has become an analysis and then established. He says they are located in more likely countries and that according to him, all subpasses connect neighborhoods and areas where citizens frequent them most.

As for the avoidance of these countries that are meant for citizens' passage, Qorri said it is the choice of citizens if they want to exploit or risk life from their avoidance.
