Correcting Service: No prisoner is touched by Coronavirus

Kosovo Correcting Service General Director Nehat Thaci, in terms of virtual communication, “Skype for Busses” held the first meeting of this kind with the directors of all correcting and detention institutions, with whom they discussed Operational Plans “Corona Vilrus”, as well as the co-ordination of activities for the situation created in the country by the Javid 19 epidemic.

Through video communication, all the leaders of the corrective and detention institutions reported on the current state of their institutions, the operational plan, the work and the challenges they are going through as a result of the Evvid 19 epidemic show.

During this video communication, the first of the USKK commended all directors of the correct institutions and those of detention for their work and willingness shown so far for managing and implementing the Operational Plan “Corona Virus”, which so far is operating in the best possible way, as before.

In the end, it was estimated that in all the correctional and detention institutions so far there is no case, which results in positive with Covid 19.

Prisoners are receiving more frequent medical treatment, supplied with hygienic material and enough food, and well-controlled by kitchen staff.

All these results, so far, have been achieved as a result of co-operation between leaders of corrective institutions, staff, correctional and health officials.
