In a blog post, the social media giant said it was necessary for staff in Hong Kong, Japan and South Korea to work from a distance.
This comes a day after the firm stopped all non-moral business trips and events for its workers. The company had already announced that it was withdrawing from this month's Southwestern Media Conference in Austin, Texas.
The leader of human sources on Twitter Jennifer Christie said: “Our goal is to reduce the possibility of spreading the Coavid-19 coronary to us and the world around us”, writes BBC, broadcast Periscope.
