Coronavirus, Meta: Funds are needed so the situation does not get out of control.

At a press conference, Meta said that “has no room for panic, but there is no room for underestimation from institutions and any citizen”.

“Today confirmed the first two cases of contact by the choreographer. Wishing you recovery as soon as possible, I express my solidarity. Responsibility and cooperation, professionalism, commitment and transparency are required. I support medical personnel who will have to face this serious danger. I prefer the necessity of engagement of all state structures”, Meta said.

He called on institutions to take measures to ensure protective means, to launch personal training, determine quarantines and security perimeter, but also equipment.

“I am following the situation step-by-step and together with the other institutions we will do everything to be close to any citizen for not allowing escalation. I prefer for detailed plans, detailed monitoring plans, for full financing for the needs of medical protection materials not only for medical personnel, but also for security forces, to successfully face this pandemi”, Meta said.

Similarly, the president said that a detailed economic plan for financial actions supporting “is needed.

“Today the family and all Albanian society are together to face a very serious emergency, and only, nationwide solidarity will be the force in the face of this pandemic. Matur and the lessons learned from other developed countries are the safest instruments to handle the situation properly. Every citizen should be aware that the slightest underestimation endangers not only his own life, but also the children of parents”, Meta said.

He called for responsibility and maximum co-operation, while expressing conviction that only in this way will we succeed in preventing this difficult situation from escalating.

Asked whether it is time to gather the Security Council, Meta said that “is not the time to hold meetings on the meeting”.

“Since 31 January, I have requested taking action yet before the cases appeared in Italy and then asked the following advance. I made a stronger request yesterday. The government today has taken a series of measures in this direction, we are in constant communication with government and state institutions to do everything, not only to investigate these two cases, but important is to understand that the slightest underestimation of citizens creates a contaminated network that returns to the carrier and distributor of the virus”, Meta said.

He estimated that <x0 operations are being done with full responsibility and that we are in constant contact with all”.

Similarly, Meta informed that the “from today's presidency has a task force headed by national security adviser and that all citizens will have an address to address when they see problems”.

“I believe that with maximum responsibility we will manage to have the situation under control. Today I spoke to our ambassadors in Rome and Greece. There are some things that require funding, and funds must be found without help. But there are two things that don't require funding: that each citizen's cooperation and that every citizen is caring, and that volunteering.
