Two new Coronavirus cases go to 35 of those infected in Kosovo

The RT- The PCR, 20 (20) suspected samples of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and two (2) of them are positive.

Two of the positive cases are contact cases one from the village of Petrova municipality of Shtime, the 44-year-old male gender, and the other with accommodations in Pristina by the Pristina municipality and the female gender of the age of 39.

Today with 23.03.2020 at the IKSHPK Medieval Microbiology laboratory with RT- The PCR, 20 (20) suspected samples of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and two (2) of them are positive.

Two of the positive cases are contact cases one from the village of Petrova municipality of Shtime, the 44-year-old male gender, and the other with accommodations in Pristina by the Pristina municipality and the female gender of the age of 39.

From the date 08.02,2020 to 23,03,2020, at the Moldovan microbiology laboratory in IKSHPK with the RT- The PCR, a total of 604 suspicious samples in the SARS-CoV-2 virus have been tested, and of them a total of thirty-five (35) cases have resulted in positive.

From the date 01.02,2020 to 23.03.20 at the International Airport “Adem Jashari”, as well as at the border crossings, a total of 16,756 travelers have been dedicated. At the “Adem Jashari” 1,015 travellers, Merdare 5,202, Vermica 4.395, Jarinje 1.188, White Landu 985, Hani of Elez 2,157, Tower 1,070, Qafe Morine 47, Brnjak 499, Qafe Prush 35, Muchiba 162 and Grlobocica 1.

In the IKSHPK in a continuous 24-hour period is being contacted and monitored by all case contacts, as well as contact contacts being forced to self-insult and seek medical assistance if they have symptoms. To date, 617 contacts of cases that have resulted in positive have been contacted and monitored.

Globally, between December 31, 2019 and March 23, 2020, according to Worldometers, a total of 341,760 cases of COVID-19 and 14,757 cases of death were reported. The largest number of cases are reported by China (81.093), Italy (59.138), U.S.A. (35.070), Spain (29.909), Germany (24.904), Iran (21.638), France (16.018), Switzerland (7.776), United Kingdom (5.68), Netherlands (4.204), Austria (3.631), Belgium (3.401), Turkey (1.26), Greece (624), Slovenia (414), Croatia (306), Serbia (22.283), northern Macedonia (89) and Albania (89).
By 23 March 2020, from EU countries/ AEE and United Kingdom are reported these cases of death: Italy (5.476), Spain (1.813), France (674), United Kingdom (281), Netherlands (179), Switzerland (100), Germany (94), Belgium (75), Turkey (30), Greece (15), Denmark (13), Austria (16), Luxembourg (8), Poland (7), Hungary (7), Bulgaria (7), Bulgaria (3), Albania (4), Slovenia (3) Serbia (2), northern Macedonia (2) and Croatia (1).
