In China, 38 people lost their lives on Tuesday, March 2nd, bringing the number of deaths in the country to 2,981, according to China's National Health Commission (NHC).
Of the 38 people who died, 37 were in the province of Hubei, where the outbreak of the virus began.
Confirmed cases in China rose by 119 on Tuesday, and with 115 in the town of Hubei, CNN writes.
In total, 80,270 people have been infected with Coronavirus in China since the beginning of the coronary. According to the NHC, a total of 49,856 patients have recovered and left the hospital.
219 victims have registered outside China's territory.
