Residents of Kamenica's Busavata village will protest before the Government of Kosovo today because of educational reforms undertaken by the mayor, Kastrati, who predict the closure of several schools in this municipality.
They call for the intervention of Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Minister of Education Hykmete Bajrami to protect their children, who risk falling short of education.
This situation is very serious. Since the 1999 war we don't remember as the worst psychological parent, so we need your help to exercise your media knowledge and strength in the Kamenica municipality and convince the mayor to withdraw the decision because he is wrong. We just want the good for our children as every parent in the world”, says the announcement sent to the media on behalf of parents and residents of the Kamenica Busavata.
Shdur yshe, Minister Bajrami long ago has considered the situation created in education in the municipality of Kamenica to no avail.
It has made known to some students that since January 13th of this year they have not followed the learning process.
Bajrami has indicated that they have agreed with Kamenica chairman to temporarily suspend the reform launched in this municipality so that normality can be restored to schools.
While chairman Kastrati has reconfirmed that the reform will be suspended in the village of Koretin and Topanica, while in other villages it will continue.
