“Now that the existence of the virus in so many countries has been determined, the threat of an pandemic has become very true,” said O General Director Tedros Adhanom Gestasus at a press conference.
He added that only four countries make up 93 percent of all 110,000 cases in the world.
Tedros welcomed the drastic measures taken by Italy to fight Avid-19, reports Ansa.
“Italia has adopted aggressive measures and we hope to see results in the coming days,” he said.
