Arrested in Drenas is brutally beaten by police, the lawyer tells the story

That's what attorney Gazmend Halilaj claims, who through a Facebook post has cleared up the whole story.

He said he was visiting the person in question today who's also his client.

The same, according to Halilaj, had been in serious health because the police had been exercising physical violence against him, only because he had refused to accept the work he was suspected of.

Halilaj has indicated that the victim's face was completely maimed and the worst injuries were in his left eye.

Halilaj's full posting on Facebook:

Dear friends, today I was on the visit of a client who was being held under ban in the Drenas police station.

The same man was in serious health condition because the police had used physical violence against him, because he had not accepted the work he was charged with.
His face was almost completely decapitated, but his worst injuries were in his left eye, even though he had body rhythms all over his body.
I insisted that Urgent offered me medical assistance, since the police had not sent him to the doctor, it's in order not to reveal himself.
After I asked to be sent immediately to the doctor and informed the IPK, the police sent him to the doctor in Drenas.
But, because of the heavy state of emergency, the same Emergency was sent to QUK-Pristina, as a consequence of the violence used in this police station.

If I wasn't in a visa and if I didn't insist that the same emergency be sent to the doctor and if I didn't inform the IPK us, even though all the officers and superiors who were there, were aware of the poor citizen condition, this case would be erased, while the status of my client now could have deteriorated to the consequences...
