Anti-Americanism boils in Kosovo: Nurellar shows America saved Albania, and not only Kosovo

A huge wave of anti-Americanism in Kosovo has recently spread, which unfortunately has support from a part of politics in our country that party interest has placed on the public. Albanian analyst Adri Nurellari has reacted to this. The Nutellar has [...]
Nurellar has told of a New York Times writing 100 years ago entitled “Not on Albania's back” [ang. “Not at Albanyʹs Cost” that points to American President Woodrow's stance Wilson to the Great Powers regarding London's Secret Treaty.
Wilson at that time had saved Albania, which risked total fragmentation after the end of World War I, among its neighbouring countries, Serbia, Greece and Montenegro, writes Periscope.
Albanian opinion has repeatedly praised the then famous American president for the crucial role he had in preventing a frightening scenario for the fate of the Albanian nation. And that reminds us even analyst Nurellar in his writing.
Moreover, he also recalls that the Albanian government of 1924 had changed the name of Shengjin, calling Wilson [the president's name], in recognition of the salvation of Albania's independence.
We remember [and Periscope regrets I have to do this] that the US had the crucial role in saving Kosovo and Kosovars during the 1999 war, which in case of non-intervention could end much worse for all of us. /Periscope
