The meeting will be held at 2: 00 p.m., to decide on the opposition deputies' request, as the AAK has collected 41 signatures for extraordinary sessions, following Kosovo government warnings to lift the tax on Serbian goods.
While the date of holding the extraordinary session is still unknown, First Deputy Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti today has voiced pro-empting the tax imposed by the Haradinaj government in November 2018.
He in a Facebook post has written that any postponement for the removal of the fee seriously offsets Kosovo's negotiating position in dialogue and risks the country's isolation and the destruction of reports with the US and EU.
Former Prime Minister Ramush Har Adinaj has reiterated in many cases that the tax should not be lifted until Serbia recognises Kosovo state.
Today during the day in a sign of disappointment over warnings of tax removal, The AAK has held a symbolic action in front of the Government building, where they have put banners with inscriptions “The people do not forget, Serbia does not exceed”, “Albin, Serbia passes, or does not exceed”.
