These controls follow the spread of the coronary in China and other countries, especially in Italy. But doctors say there is no room for panic.
The Albanian Health Ministry's order to double medical personnel and border controls has been put into practice at Morina's border checkpoint as well. Two teams of doctors monitor the situation 24 hours.
The epidemiologist near the local health unit in Kukes, Faton Zenelaj, told Radio Kosovo that the month they have been watching the travelers, who enter and exit the Morin-Vermica border, there has been no suspected case.
We've been here for a month. We've set up two working groups and we're holding up monitoring the situation 24 hours. Looking at the MSH cases, it has established Taskforca and decided to double personnel”, he says.
Zenelaj said the situation is under control as well as why there have been entrances of Chinese citizens from affected areas, but that in recent months these haven't travelled to China, and therefore have resulted in pure corruption.

He also said that the customs room is ready for quarantine if there are suspicious cases.
“We have cooperation with the police, have issued us a quarantine room. We have equipment, masks and uniforms. We had citizens coming from China residents of Europe, but there was no suspected case of”, he said.
