The two ruling parties, the LDK's LVV, are continuing not to take a common stance on the tax issue.
Until Prime Minister Kurti has said there should be haste to remove the tax, the LDK has demanded that the tariff be lifted as soon as possible.
This failure to comply with government partners about tax and reciprocity according to political affairs connoisseurs could cost those of the government short-lived, writes the newspaper “Zri”.
Although they have agreed to co-government -- the two largest parties in Kosovo, the LVV and LDK -- still have no common stance about the 100% tax imposed on Serbian products more than a year ago.
Until current Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said he will not rush to remove the tax without initially having an elaboration from the Ministry of Economy about this issue, the deputy prime minister from the ranks of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Avdullah Hoti, has considered that the tax must be lifted as soon as Kosovo has limited time for major processes.
On the other hand, the US is continuing to reject Kurt's idea of reciprocity, though the chief executive is insisting that this is in line with international relations and the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo. Meanwhile, connoisseurs of political issues see the failure to comply between the two ruling parties on the issue of the 100% fee.
