Tahiri: With Rugova's picture, V V-LDK divided important parliamentary commissions to themselves

Former Justice Minister Abelard Tahiri has said that the irrational, anti-legal and militant behaviour of Parliament Speaker Vjosa Osmani is damaging the image of parliamentary democracy and formative tradition.

According to him, this behaviour accorded between Osman and Kurti is unacceptable.

Because of its anti-legal and irrational and deliberate behaviour accorded with Albin Kurtin, the opposition is limiting its role. This was seen today, when in the absence of the PDK, the ruling parties have selected parliamentary commissions in an extremely harmful format for transparency, accountability, good governance and democratic development of the institutional sphere”.

The fact that the VV and LDK governing the government have taken over the chairmanship of key parliamentary commissions such as it is for legislation; Board and Finance; Internal Affairs, Security and KSF Supervision; Rural Development Agriculture, as well as the one for Education, Science and Technology, is the most clear indication that current power is trying to bring the agenda into control for the capture of the state, thereby eliminating accounting lines”.
