swine flu still running through Kosovo

Numerous citizens in the country are being affected by seasonal flu, which is said to have passed the existing threshold. The National Public Health Institute has found that even the A (H1N1) virus, known as swine flu, continues to circulate.

The flu in Kosovo has crossed the political threshold.

So it was made known by the country's National Institute of Public Health, which said that between October 1st 2019 and February 9, 2020, a total of 522 suspicious flu samples have been tested, where 214 samples have proved positive, out of which 98 positive in the A flu and 116 positive in B flu.

The epidemiological situation is currently under control in terms of seasonal flu, but with the current climate situation, which is ruling in Kosovo, is expected to continue high intensity even next month”, it is said by this Institute.

Even the Infectious Clinic at QKUK has been confirmed for the newspaper that there are patients affected by influence A, until, according to B, children are affected.

Paddy Ramush Beqiri has told “Zerin” that the number of children affected by the flu has recently increased, so the situation with regard to the flu has been aggravated.
