Authorities have said 300 emergency service workers were called on the road near the mountain town of Bahcesaray in Van province, which borders Iran, as Tuesday's first avalanche reportedly killed five people.
Around noon, the rescue team was isolated by another snow avalanche, writes The Guardian, translates Periscope.

Emergency teams were looking for other colleagues who may have been buried under the snow.
The scene's images show at least three vehicles that were turned over by the hills after a snowstorm. The fog, heavy snow and strong winds had further exacerbated the conditions for search-saving.
The state news agency Anadolu said that even the operator, Bahattin Karagel, had been snowed for 25 minutes before breaking the window and saving. /Periscope
