Skender Hyseni: reciprocity Must Be Considered

“Taxa has become the cause of internal political confrontation. Clearly, there is polarisation about this topic within the political spectrum in Kosovo. This makes the tax harmful, no fee at all an obstacle to restoring dialogue with Serbia, which is an American agenda, and we have no account not to support it. We should become coauthors of the American agenda”, Hyseni said.

Hyseni in Clan B Zone Kosovo has stressed that even the warned reciprocity measure must be thought well before it is imposed.

“Taxa must be removed. There's no need to be improvised. I'd like to know what reciprocity thinks of it, and if it's thought of as another cause that presents the same obstacles, then that should be well thought of. Consider before the step is taken. I don't know what reciprocity thinks.

“If we talk about total reciprocity, this is just a new cause that replaces the old cause. Total recommendations mean mutual recognition between Kosovo and Serbia”.

“Taxa must be removed without any condition, but conditioning should come from the international community towards Belgrade. The only non-negotiable condition is for Belgrade to offer evidence that has interrupted the campaign to withdraw recognitions and against recognitions and the campaign against Kosovo membership in international bodies”.

Hyseni has said the LDK still does not have a decision on its tax.

“We haven't handled this issue in party structures yet, but it must be addressed and a tax decision made about tax share”.
