Kosovo police have banned the entrance to Mitrovica from the Slovenian basketball team from Batocina.
During Sunday, Kosovo Police have banned access to their territory from Serbia's Botacija basketball team Sloga.
They had scheduled a match with Trepca under the second Serbian league.
This ban was made because Serbian athletes had attempted to enter Kosovo without adequate permission from Kosovo authorities.
This has been confirmed for news.net, Kosovo Police spokesman Daut Hoxha.
The positioned team from you is not following permission from the competent ministry, so they are denied entry into the Republic of Kosovo”, Hoxha has declared news.net.
On the other hand, Serbian media report that this is the second case in the last 20 days that basketball players from Serbia are barred from entering Kosovo.
