Reka urges EP to support Kosovo for visa liberalisation

European Integration Minister Blerim Reka hosted European Parliament Deputy Speaker Rainer Wieland, accompanied by his German delegation, who has announced the actual processes and progress with the European agenda of Kosovo, stressing the importance of co-operation and co-ordination with European Parliament representatives.
Minister Reka thanked the European Parliament's deputy head, Wieland for Kosovo's ongoing support in its integration process.
In this case, Minister Reka, through Wieland, asked the European Parliament to continue its support for Kosovo in particular three key priorities that have both visa liberalisation, implementation of the SAA and preparation for programming with IPA III funds.
Minister Reka said he believes the European Parliament and its deputies will continue to be a strong voice in support of the European perspective of Kosovo.
For his part, the European Parliament's deputy head, Wieland, congratulated Minister Reka on the new task, as well as expressed enthusiasm for forming the new government, on the dynamising of functionalisation of institutions in the function of good governance and rule of law in the country.
