Prime Minister Albin Kurti has been hosted by Albanian counterpart Edi Rama with state ceremonies in Tirana.
This is the first visit by the Kosovo government chief since taking office last week.
Prime Minister Kurti, visiting Tirana, will have separate meetings with President Ilir Meta, Parliament Speaker Gramoz Ruci, Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj and Democratic Party Chairman Lulzim Basha.
