The Vetevendosje movement appears to be obsessed with cafes. After Mr. Yll Rugova, the deputy candidate, that cafes would also offer drinking water along with cafes for the guests, now MP Dimal Basha has declared war open to “duhan inside cafes”.

It is not known whether the promise of a glass of water is being applied by all cafes in the country, but it seems that the issue of law enforcement is receiving special attention.

Basha announces she has already talked to many local owners who have expressed readiness to abide by the law.

I've been told a lot I've contacted that they're willing to stop it, but they just want the Law to come up with the same application for everyone, not as selective as it happened before,” he wrote.

He has said a co-ordination and awareness campaign with all the actes involved during the month of February will begin.

This campaign involves five steps. The first, the distribution of anti-duhan pamphlets around the locals. The second, visits and commitments requirements from the owners to co-operate in stopping smoking on March 1st. Third, contact with the municipal inspectorate. The fourth meeting and pledge request by Kosovo Police. And fifth, anti-smoking legalization request.

Below, you find full status on Facebook:

Dearest people of Ferizaj,

It's been a long time since I've been thinking about how to get to the initiative to stop smoking in bars. As for information, I've talked to many local owners, and they're all tired of smoking that only costs them and the health workers, damage to inventory, but also financial, because of investments of thousands of Euros for the ventilation of smoke that you produce.

A lot of those I've contacted have told me that they're willing to stop it, but they just want the Law to find the same application for everyone, not in selective form as it happened before. So, I'm starting today on a request from March 1 to stop him in all the locals.

But in advance, because of the circumstances of non-compliance so far, I will start a campaign of co-ordination and awareness with all the acters during February:

  1. Initially, I will begin the announcement by distributing pamphlets in locals (see photo) and informing citizens and owners of this initiative. I'm done with my own personal tools!
  2. I will personally visit the owners and ask God for all the tobacco prevention co-operation from 1 MARSI, while simultaneously co-operate with them and the institutions on the grounds that the Law finds application in all localities indiscriminately.
  3. For implementation, I have also contacted the municipal Inspectorate, from which I have received full support.
  4. I also have after meeting with the Kosovo Police, who have also pledged to assist in implementing this law. They will also help with consciousness but will also assist when individuals are not subject to fines and the Law in power.
  5. In JANAR I have also had a meeting with Prime Minister in Ferizaj, and I have been promised that in collaboration with BIK they will arrange for a Friday to hold a speech about this topic throughout the city of Ferizaj. For that I am at the conclusion of the preparation of the material, which I hope will have ready next week and I believe deeply in the cooperation of the Islamic Community in Ferizaj.

I believe it's time for this subject to close down forever and be a city to envy us. I don't believe this subject requires debate, but, however, for those who doubt whether we should take these measures, please read the following reasons why this conversation should come to an end.

  1. It's illegal, friends and friends! Think of how hard it is for you to complain morally when others violate the Law until you respect it yourself.
  2. It affects the health of those who do not drink. 70 chemicals in tobacco are cancerous, so those who don't consume them don't owe them cancer, including children. We're not saying don't kill yourself, but please pray that if you choose to die, you die alone and spare us others who don't drink?
  3. Think of the situation I had one day. There were four people at a table, and the four of them had a cigarette (seem to be heated near a fire). Everyone complained about KEK and the polluted air outside. Now think of the paradox! They complained about the polluted outside air until they poisoned the environment for others inside. Taman SWI GENTHERS!
  4. Smoking also damages property inside bars. You believe I've contacted a lot of local owners, and they're all tired of the smoke they live in, including workers, but also of the additional investments they have to do. Many local owners pay thousands of Euros for ventilation, that is, fascilization of those who damage air and break the law. Unfair!
  5. For the end, and that's for the whole thing, aren't you snore? Every time you come home in the evening, the smell of clothing stinks. Smell your brother's key! Even more expensive is paying us to clean up our clothes, as well as the shampoo and hot water passed by, that the whole liquor bill or dinner we're having.

So love Ferizaj and all the good people inside him that I can handle.
