At a meeting held between party chairman Kadri Veselin and other party leadership structures, this process was considered necessary for further strengthening of women in public life.
“The PDK has always been committed to the role of women in decision-making within the party and will have continued priorities, creating space for women in the PDK. This would create room for a democratic and conservative process and strengthen the woman's role in decision-making”, Wessel has said.
The head of the Department for Gender Policy in the PDK, Blerta Deliu Kodra, urged women and girls to become an active part of this election process in the Democratic Woman.
