MRO- The DPMNE, which with two ministers participates in the technical government until the 12 April elections.
Labour and Social Policy Minister Rasela Mizrahi had put behind her a pan under the old name “Republic of Macedonia”, which had prompted Foreign Affairs Minister Nikola Dimitrov's reaction to whose address he had declared, has also come a protest note on the part of Greece, which had drawn remarks on possible consequences if the Prespa Agreement is not implemented.
“A not with these actions has jeopardised the Euro-Atlantic future of our state. Sometimes I warned her but she didn't correct this behavior. All must respect the Constitution and the law and institutions should function perfectly”, Prime Minister Oliver Spasovski has declared before MPs.
But the deputies of VMRO- The DPMNE has been loud in their reactions by rejecting accusations of violating the agreement, since according to them the document has a transitional period until full entry into force. Opposition deputies even raised doubts about whether there really is a protest note from Athens since such letters as Foreign Minister Dimitrov did not publish it in the opinion.
There are many other cases where officials use the old name and one of them is Foreign Minister Dimitrov. He in the documents we have provided by the ministry leading, in many cases uses the old name, just as many other officials”, has declared opposition MP Ilija Dimovski.
The dismissed minister, Rasella Mizrahi, of Jewish descent, has also charged her speech with antisemitism and other grave insults over her background.
“Ende without entering this ministry, like the first Jewish woman in the history of Macedonia appointed as a member of the government, I have been targeted by antisemitic attacks by people who choose neither means nor ways nor words to insult me. So instead of criticising my work, they criticised my religious and national affiliation and more marked with a yellow star”, Mizrahi declared.
The agreement between Skopje and Athens on resolving the long-term name dispute has been reached on 17 June 2018. With this agreement, Macedonia has changed its name to northern Macedonia, while Greece has vetoed its northern neighbour's membership in Euro-Atlantic institutions. / REL/
