The Health Ministry Task Force met on Monday morning at the “Mother Teresa” in Rinas, in connection with measures taken to prevent Coronavirus. During her speech, Health Minister Ogerta Manastirliu initially indicated that accountability and rationality are required in this situation, leaving no room for panic. She said Albania is prepared in all its capacities to deal with the situation, as according to Manastirliu, there are experts in all areas of public health in the country.

Furthermore, Manastirliu said all health facilities are on alert. She stressed that no Corleone case has been recorded in Albania so far. According to Manastirliu, six suspected cases in the country, following tests by the Public Health Institute, resulted in negative. She said that more measures and controls have been added to all border points, where only during Sunday day have over 4,500 travelers been checked.
