This institution has demanded from the government 491 thousand euros for both rounds for these elections, but has not yet received answers from the government.
Mayor Valdete Daka has said that failure to share the budget risks holding elections in this municipality, while stressing that she does not bear responsibility in case of failure.
We're 25 days away from election day and we haven't happened to have no ballot. They've been printed outside Kosovo, but there are procurement procedures, but since today we can't carry the responsibility and the election day can happen if we don't have ballot papers. And they should refer to us in the budget”, she said.
Even LDK member Sami Hamiti said that with this trend, the failure of elections in Podujevo is guaranteed, EO reports.
This is co-ordinated, with this election trend there is no in Podujevo”, he said.
In addition to the budget, there is also a discussion of the printing of paper and form, of the dock for voting procedures and counting, etc.
