JAVA: After reaching agreement, VV tow apologise to Agim Veliu for slandering him

After three months and 26 days of intensive negotiations, the government coalition agreement between Vetevendosje and the Democratic League of Kosovo was finally reached. [ LDK]. This whole week was prompted by reproach, pessimism, then optimism, and other dramatic events regarding the agreement in question. Today morning, LDK leader and leader [...]

Today morning, the leader of the LDK and the leader of Vetevendosje appeared at a media conference where they announced that the agreement for co-government had been reached between them.

The agreement did not become transparent, but what is known is that the prime minister's position will meet Vetevendosje, while that of the Speaker of the Parliament will meet the LDK.

The new prime minister will be Mr. Albin Kurti, while the new head of the Parliament will be Mrs. Vjosa Osmani.

Vetevendosje exhibitors have so far offended many LDK exhibits, and even the PDK in opposition, that they were not allowing the deal to be reached. The most pronounced were Lutfi Haziri, chairman of Gjilan and Agim Veliu, chairman of Podujevo. It turned out that all such insults were unfair and unreasonable.

But what does procrastination tell us?

That the government may be too fragile from possible inter-party clashes. The LDK and Vetevendosje are not easily hired on any political issue. And since Kosovo faces very big challenges, these disputes could erupt the new coalition government within months.

Moreover, the issue of the country's president is still pending. The LDK has agreed to be temporarily silent, even though it is clear that if this position does not belong to it, they will withdraw from the coalition with Vetevendosje. In the meantime, Mrs. Vjosa Osmani has agreed with her party that the position of Speaker of the Parliament will be until the end of the government mandate, so she will not let Isa Mustafa become the new president of the Republic of Kosovo.

The worst beginning of government Albin Kurti could not have seen in his worst nightmares. Kurt has disappointed citizens with nearly four-month procrastination, disappointed citizens even now by submitting to Mr. Isa Mustafa, has also disappointed the silence over the Kosovo-Serbia airline agreement, and has disappointed the burning of Glauk Konjufca by forcing him to resign a political figure that took over 70 thousand votes in the 6 October elections.

During this week, in Kosovo was EU senior official Josep Borrell, who, with advanced arrogance, declared that there was no time to deal with Kosovo and that he would appoint a subordinate to mediate. Imagine, the EU is turning its back on Kosovo at such a critical moment.

The PDK, the largest opposition party, took a surprise move boycotting meeting with Mr. Borrell protesting internal development for the extension of the creation of a government by the first two parties, and also protesting (not) external development, unjust EU treatment of Kosovo. Courageous action that in the past would be expected only by the Vetevendosje Movement.

But Vetevendosje has radically changed its stances diametrically in relation to internationals [who once considered them corrupt]. This political party itself had invited Quinn's ambassadors to Kosovo to listen to negotiations between his party and the LDK. In other words, he was told “bujrum” to get mixed up in the internal affairs of the Republic of Kosovo. But the ambassadors humiliated him by saying in the eyes that they would not do so.

Kosovo will finally have its own government. A government created after endless discussions and between two allies that have cultivated deep distrust of each other and will be at constant struggle for any merit in case of success, and for fleeing from any responsibility in cases of scandals.

However, the Periscope of both parties is looking forward to success in the challenges ahead!
