O BSH concerned over the spread of the coronary outside Chinese territory

The head of the World Health Organization warned on Thursday that the explosion of the new coronary outside China already constitutes the largest “concern”. While a decline in the number of new cases has been reported in China for the second day in a row, Tedros Adhanom Ghebrreesus told reporters at his daily conference in Geneva that “what is happening in the rest of the world constitutes our greatest concern”.

O Director General The BSH said that the international community is located “at a crucial point” and that <x2 if acted aggressively now, the virus could be contained, it could prevent other people from getting sick and saving lives”, as he said.

Meanwhile, public health officials worldwide have concentrated on taking measures to prevent the spread of the new coronary (COVID-19) that has infected at least 82,000 people in more than 40 countries since the moment of the China show at the end of December.

The United States and South Korea have suspended joint military exercises. Washington issued a new warning regarding travel by advising American citizens to avoid visits to South Korea, a country that has reported more cases so far after China. Authorities in South Korea announced on Thursday another 505 cases, which brought the total of people affected by the virus to 1,766 people.

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe called for closure of schools for several weeks. It was also called on for people to avoid large rallies to cancel sporting events or to develop them without spectators in an effort to prevent the spread of the virus. Japan has reported about 200 cases, without counting more than 700 on a weekly cruise ship in quarantine in Yokohama.

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced that his government has started implementing an emergency plan in response to what he said was “broad care”, but connected and fearing that the spread of the virus could be transformed into pandemic.

“Based on expert advice, there is any indication that the world will soon enter the pandemic phase”, said Mr. Morrison.

France's President Emmanuel Macron visited a hospital in Paris on Thursday, where this week a person lost his life as a result of the virus. He expressed support for health care workers.

In Geneva, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet warned against the virus-related discrimination.

The epidemimia of the coronary has triggered a disturbing wave of prejudice against those with Chinese ethnic affiliations or from the east of Asia. I call on member states to do their best to fight this and other forms of discrimination”, he said.

In the United States, another concern has spread over a possible case of a person who has no known travel history in a country with an ongoing outbreak or contact with someone known to be infected. U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced this case Wednesday and was a person in the state of California.

President Donald Trump held a press conference late Wednesday expressing confidence in his government's readiness to respond to the situation. Attention regarding the situation has shifted from China to other countries. The head of the World Health Organisation, Tedros Adhanom Ghebrreesus, said governments should continue to be vigilant even if they see a decline in cases. He stressed the highly disturbing “expansion” of the situation in Italy and Iran, which have been linked to cases spread in other countries.

Denmark, meanwhile, reported its first case Thursday, was about a person who had returned from a trip to Italy. This follows the first reported case in Brazil, the first in Latin America, which also included one who had visited Italy. Some of the other countries that enter the list of those with confirmed cases are Romania, Greece, Norway and Pakistan.

Saudi Arabia, which has not reported any coronary infection, announced that it has banned entry into the country of foreign pilgrims who come to visit the holy sites of Islam.
