Initiative shows why you don't compete in March 15th elections in Podujevo

The Social Democrat Initiative announced that, in consultation with our branch and structures in Podujevo, no candidate for mayor has run.

According to the Initiative, one of the reasons no candidate has run is the short mandate the new chairman will have.

“Nisma in Podujevo has produced a relatively good result in the October 6th elections, for which it congratulates our branch and structures in this city. The initiative in Podujevo is extended and has its structures on every corner of this municipality”, said the communique.

The initiative invited facilities in Podujevo to be active and to begin preparations for municipal elections due next year.

As to the position it will take in the 15 March elections and if it will support any of the candidates for chairmanship, the Initiative says it will be carefully conveyed and in time to announce public opinion.
