Haziri: We only have one candidate for president, he's Isa Mustafa

LDK Deputy Chairman Lutfi Haziri has spoken on the issue to the president, who was a key point of blocking the coalition with Vetevendosje. He said it has already been decided to discuss this when the time comes and it will only be done between the two leaders, Albin Kurti and Isa Mustaf.

But, Haziri was harsh with all his co-partisans to dream “of being president, as he said, the LDK has only one candidate for the post.

We have agreed that the two leaders will address the president's case. So it's a matter of two leaders and this is going to happen in trust. We have supported them. I would not like to covet details because I do not know what the two leaders have formulated. But tomorrow, the elections were held, Mustafa is the LDK candidate for president. My name and nobody's name is no candidate. Let's forget that all those who dream might be candidates. Let's forget they're not candidates. This issue will be resolved in trust between Mustafa and Kurti”.

Haziri said on the tax issue that both his party and Vetevendosje have said ahead of the elections that it will be replaced by reciprocity and that it is the decision of both coalition partners.

This has been part of the deal and must be implemented as agreed. The tax should be suspended and reciprocity established. We are aware that this process takes some time. The issue of tariffs and reciprocity has been debated in the courageous election campaign. Recognitionaries of the corresponding areas of reciprocity must whiteen and clearly define what reciprocity means. Because if we continue to damage Kosovo again then we have done nothing”.

Haziri, for Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq's statement that reciprocity cannot be implemented, while Serbia recognises Kosovo, said it shows its remaining culture in the past century.

He doesn't even recognise Kosovo, but has more for domestic consumption because he has elections there. I take seriously the two-standard policy he practices because it's stable”.

“Also, American foreign policy is effective in demanding tax removal. I would not like to see Kosovo in political penalties. It's time to implement”.

While he himself said he would not re-negotiate for the mayor of Gjilan, Haziri voiced confidence that the victory is on the LDK's side in the Podujevo municipality now that he will go to an extraordinary election even though his main rival is their partner at the central level, Vetevendosje.

I don't see the choices in Podujevo as a crash, but as a race. In Kosovo, new generations in their profile must learn that competition and rivalry are not hostility. Political rivals in our political value are respected and not attacked or offended. We are at a turning point and institutions should be respected because of constitutionality”.

And we, with Vetevendosje and Kurti without any kind of problem, negotiated, despite different opinions and ideology, approach. The commitment was to bring the two-way benefits of melting and doing it together”.

“As we say again comes March. I have full security that we will win in Podujevo. It has not yet been decided who the candidate will be, but it has names of good experiences and names that can compete. Everyone who competes there should be in a healthy rivalry. I worked with Istog and several other municipalities have also managed to survive the 2007 crisis”.

Haziri said the LDK has made the best possible representation of ministers in the Kurti Government with people prepared for the respective areas.

The “in this policy requirement today has become a correct representation. We can never say it's the best possible”.
