The Kosovo government has not yet planned how February 17th -- the 12th anniversary of Kosovo's independence -- will be marked.
Over the past few years, planning for the introduction of Independence Day had usually started about 2 or 3 weeks earlier, but this year, when there are still four days to this day, the government has proposed a working group to organize this day's footnote.
The problem with that could also be lack of budget, considering that Kosovo has spent its reserve state funds.
Today, at the government meeting, it has been asked by the Kosovo Assembly to postpone budgetary divisions for 2020 even for a month, meaning there will be a lack of financial means.
In addition, Kurt today has proposed that a working group be formed so that necessary preparations can be made for marking the 12th anniversary of independence.
On Monday, we have to mark the 12th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kosovo, with this opportunity it is good to have a working group that will finalise already common and traditional preparations in our country, and, in this case, I propose that we have a working group that I believe it should be led by Deputy Prime Minister Hakki Abazi and, under this working group if you don't have any remarks or suggestions on the other side to be Minister of Culture and Sports Vlora Dumoi, and to be Minister of Defence Anton and Quni is Minister of Management and Rezikız, Emilehhhh, Kurti, Kurti, Kurti, Kurti, Kurti, Kurti, Kurti, he said.
Despite this, the news has tried to get answers from the Kosovo Prime Minister's Office about the 12th anniversary of independence, but the latter have not answered the editorial questions.
Neither has the Ministry of Finance provided any information regarding the organisation and allocation of budgetary means for this day's footnote.
Last year, the Kosovo government had earmarked 500 thousand euros from the reserve fund for marking Independence Day, while 3 days before February 17th, the agenda was published.
