Gjilan takes precautions from Coronavirus

The municipality's deputy chairman, Arben Ismajli, has said that, fortunately so far, no case has been reported until he has confirmed that all of IKSHP's demands and recommendations for protection from this virus have been undertaken in terms of primary health aspects.
The full letter of the National Institute of Public Health, which was sent to the Directorate for Health and Social Goodness in Gjilan.
Dear Director of Health Institutions in the Republic of Kosovo,
1. The Committee to Monitor Contagion Diseases has ascertained the need for identification of a domestic quarantine object, and health institutions ( SHSKUK's QKMF has to identify areas for the possibility of quarantine of groups of patients who are not suspicious in coronavirus, but with the aim of not becoming involved with other patients.
2. The other issue that has been discussed and priority is providing personal protective equipment to QKMF healthcare workers (stewarding teams), the health clinic staff and police at the border checkpoints, sent to the Ministry of Health on February 03th 2020 through the Secretary of Defense, who has taken priority and launched emergency procedures.
3. Based on the Coronavirus COVID-19's Planning and Response Plan, where space disinfectation tools are envisioned, the Committee has demanded that SSKKU, KPS (for spaces and ambulances should provide appropriate material and standard operating procedures for prevention and control of hospital infections.
4. All QKMFs will daily contact data and gather from the KSH Coordinator to MH and for all these activities, please report to each institution in detail what it does. QKMFs each and every clinic and regional hospital at the level of SHSKUK.
Special reports for each institution should be reached by email as soon as they reach Monday afternoon (February 24, 2020, until 14.00). Every report up to this timeline was due to be reported as non-realcing the day-to-day activities for counterconnaissance measures against Coronavirus COVID-19 and Dont report directly to the Ministry of Health and Secretary by Task Team Team's Committee to monitor infectious disease.
