Former Supervisor Board of the company “Trepca” has reacted after being dismissed by the Government of Kosovo.
They said that through the media they had understood the Government's decision on their dismissal, which stated it was without any warning and without any preliminary meeting of the ministry responsible with members of the supervisory board, to understand for the long-term situation in Trepca company.
The government made this decision by not doing a single analysis of the situation in the company and the work of the Supervisory Board, with a meaningless, biased and opinion on political purposes. That there was a tendency to the Trepca board, and the pressure of the minister through emails usually sent at midnight, trying to be openly involved in the management works of the company”.
“Therefore, with not a single reason for the dismissal of the Trepca S. , the minister reasons the proposal for downloading “violation of financial tasks” the term which was used at the previous Government meeting as “detey financial”.
The argument for the Trepca Board's dismissal had two claims; the first claim of leased property, as well as the second claim concerned the latest competition at the company”.
They further said that the “Bordi Supervisor of Trepca” was named on April 4th of 2018, thus becoming the first Board of Enterprises.
Over the period for less than two years, the Trepca Supervisor Board has carried out with dignity and full moral and criminal responsibility all obligations face the Law on Trepca, the Law for Public Enterprises, as well as other legislation in force”.
“over this period, Trepca is represented with dignity at the highest levels of national and international organisation, we have hosted many different international organisations, investors interested in the mining sector, as well as organisations focused on environmental protection”.
“Anyway, the Supervising Board will consider the possibility of complaint and indictment against Minister Hajdari over presenting false reasonings, as well as attempting to tarnish the work of the Trepca Supervisor Board”, the Trepca Board announced.
