Day of mourning for artist Nexmije Paganousha

The country's president, Hashim Thaci, in honour of the life and work of the great artist, Nexmije Paganusa, has decided on her funeral day, February 9th to declare it a day of state mourning on the entire territory of the Republic of Kosovo.

President Thaci has made this decision in recognition of state and citizen for artist Nexmije Paganusa, who gave eternal values to our national culture and art.

According to the presidency, in accordance with the legislation in force, on the day of mourning, the state flag rises in half apiece in all state objects of the Republic of Kosovo, both inside and outside the country.
