The trial of former president of the Federation Republic of Yugoslavia Slobodan Milosevic had begun on 12 February 2002 at the UN war crimes tribunal in The Hague on charges of genocide and war crimes in Bosnia, Croatia and Kosovo.
Milosevic has served as his lawyer for most of his long trial, which ended without a decision when the so-called “Cassap of the Balkans” was found dead at 64-year-old by an apparent heart attack on his cell on 11 March 2006.
