Although the number of new cases in the past two days resulted in higher outside China than inside it, Tedros indicated it is no time for panic.
“Now is the time to take action, prevent infections and save lives”, he said, calling on all governments to prepare not only for the first cases of Covid-19, but also in case of epidemics.
