Meanwhile, the transmission of choreography to countries like Iran, Italy and South Korea has brought the world to a crossroads, where the spread of the virus, can either be contained or completely out of control, said the WHO chief, Tedros Adhanom Ghebrases.
“We are changed to a critical point”, he stressed, adding that this virus is likely to become a pandemic.
Although the number of new cases in the past two days resulted in higher outside China than inside it, Tedros indicated it is no time for panic.
“Now is the time to take action, prevent infections and save lives”, he said, calling on all governments to prepare not only for the first cases of Covid-19, but also in case of epidemics.
