The “on Saturday will meet the CEC and make several decisions to prepare extraordinary elections for the mayor of the Podujevo municipality, which will be held on 15 March 2020. One of the first decisions will be to cut the deadlines of election activities by adapting them to the days available for their organisation”, Elez said.

Elez has also said that the CEC at today's meeting is expected to decide on the duration of the election campaign for extraordinary elections in Podujevo

“also, the CEC is expected to approve the operational plan, where all activities of this election process are ahead of them. Even as long as the political subjects can be presented to participate in these elections, or as long as the election campaign is, we will know at this meeting”, the CEC spokesman said.

The extraordinary elections for the mayor of the Podujevo municipality are scheduled to be held on March 15th with Kosovo President Hashim Thaci's decision.
