At the EURZH summit in London, Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabiq called on Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti to withdraw the tax on goods from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina as soon as possible.
This is bad for the region. We have to be practical if we want to increase trade and attract investments, because citizens expect it from us”, said Brnabiq, who, along with Kurt and the prime ministers of Albania, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, participated in one of the panels, writes Novosti, conveys the news.net.
Kurti said he wants to work on relations with Belgrade and wants them to be good, but the 100 per cent tax of goods from Serbia will replace with reciprocity.
We want to replace taxes with reciprocity, which will not be revenge, but we feel discriminated against and we want equality”, Kurti said.
Bernabiq said she did not want to reprove Kurt at Sam over “reciprocity measures” because it was important for her to represent not only Serbia, but the entire region economically.
Bernabiq said in London that Serbia is the right place to invest, as indicated by the data for attracting foreign investment, but also significant tax discounts, but above all because they are one of Serbia's strongest sides.
