After three decades blue passports will be issued for the first time in Great Britain as a sign of leaving the European Union. This announcement was made by the government.
The blue passports will be replaced during March by the vinyl colors established by European Union countries since 1988.
Home Secretary Priti Patel welcomed the change of these passports to blue but pro-European campaigns and nationalist politicians in Northern Ireland predicted that the new passports would result that the British with these passports would enter only the slow corset at airports and ports across the EU.
The interior office has said that the blue passports are the most color-cut passports ever created, as well as the most advanced technological passport.
These passports will have a lot of innovations like the latest «and safer printing and design techniques and will offer better protection against identity theft and fraud.
Patel said leaving the European Union has given them a unique opportunity to restore their national identity and create a new route into the world.
“Returning to the blue and gold iconic model, the British passport will be blended once again with our national identity”, he said.
Brex's supporters declared very grateful for this change in passports, as their claim that the vinyl passports have never been defined as British citizens and that the new passports will hold with great pride.
