The ambassador of the United States of America to Kosovo, Philip Costnet, has declared that Kosovo has shown the world that its army is capable of providing help to all others in need.
Costet has participated in an event organised by the Kosovo General Consulate in New York, under the motto “Investation of the Albanian Diaspora in Kosovo”.
Costett said from there that the Kosovo Army and the Kosovo state are increasingly showing their skills, citing the recent earthquake case in Albania.
He said this was an example on Kosovo's part of how regional partnership should be established among the states of the region.
Kosovo has shown the world that this security force is capable of providing help to others in need. When the tragic earthquake hit Albania, the emergency response Corps worked side by side with our crisis response team, sending relief hours after the earthquake struck. I see this as an example of how Kosovo has been established into a regional support partner”, Costett said.
Ambassador Costet, speaking of American priorities in Kosovo, said they, finally, divide them into three -- in peace, in justice and prosperity.
