Adri Nurellari: LDK does not make a difference, Kurti will compromise for the sake of power

Analyst Adri Nurellari estimated that forming Kurti Government is good news for Kosovo democracy, because clean rotations, as he called them, are evidence of the consolidation of Kosovo institutions. In an interview in the Bank of Kosovo Zone B, he said such governance is the product of Kosovo's political system. Kosovo “ [...]
In an interview in the Bank of Kosovo Zone B, he said such governance is the product of Kosovo's political system.
Kosovo is more like some countries like Benelux or Switzerland in terms of how power is taken and maintained, than Britain where there is bipolarization, social bipartisanisation. The dimension of the Ahtisaari Pack, where power should be shared with minorities, is added here. The political system itself dictates compromise, dictates this type of government”.
Insurance Nurellar commented on the coalition between Vetevendosje and LDK.
It's interesting how they're packing this coalition as change, like The LDK was something new. The LDK is the earliest party on Albanian soil, the oldest thing we have is this in terms of political organisation. And the second is since 20 years of power, 15 years are the LDK. It's kind of absurd to say there's a difference when half the power is controlled by LDK”.
He stressed that the head of government will be willing to compromise and that such a thing has already been seen.
There are certain shades that, for the sake of power, are the high odds of Kurt making compromises. We've seen some of them, some of his principled setbacks. We saw once that the party that was created under the name “Movement” against neocolonialism and against the protectorate and against the foreign conquistadores that came here, it doesn't make sense. It makes no sense because he called Quintin to pressure the LDK to negotiate”.
“Also, the party that wanted to wipe out the Serbian List was much easier with its involvement in the” coalition.
“In any case, the Serbian List has made a demonstration of force, preventing, dragging, stopping, delaying and embarrassing major deals whether the president's vote, whether the government's Mustafa the Haradinaj government vote, was not heard this time. This suggests that the possibilities for compromise are greater, but it remains to be seen”.
According to Nurlar, difficulties in the V coalition The V-LDK could emerge in connection with Vetevendosje trends to undo some past actions, here cited the Association of Serb-based municipalities, part of which the LDK was.
He added that with Albin Kurti's coming to power, he would also begin defusing his image.
