Slovenia's Health Minister Tomaz Gantar resigned, but it is not related to the government's treatment of the coronary crisis, but is due to a crisis within the ruling coalition, according to Slovenian news agency STA.
His party, ” DeSUS” has left the coalition led by Prime Minister Janez Jansa, accusing him of authoritarian ambitions.
The DPA adds that” Jansa has been in power since mid-March, following the collapse of an earlier centre-left coalition”, the ATS reported.
”DeSUS” has been part of the coalition since then, but the party changed course after choosing former foreign minister Carl Erjavec to run it again.
Erevac resumed the post of party chairman after his successor, Alexandra Pivec, resigned.
Erjavec has demanded since becoming leader to pull” DeSUS” from the coalition with Jansan saying Jansa was trying to “Orbanise” the country, referring to Hungary's right-wing leader, Viktor Orban.
Jansa's ruling coalition is now looking scurrying following the withdrawal of” DeSUS”, with a majority of only two countries.
