Testing will initially give the drug known as “The soul's” for powerful hallucinogenic images that suggest healthy individuals, but later in the second tests, it is expected to be given to depressed patients, where DMT will also be transmitted by psychotherapy.
“Psylic medicine breaks down the entire deep thinking process in your brain literally accounts for what has been done by either the stress you've faced or the depressive thoughts you've had and very much increases in making new connections. ” said Carol Rutledge, the company that in collaboration with London's Imperial College is conducting tests in question.
The DMT has been discovered in several different plants and is one of the compounds of ayacasca, a bitter drink consumed during shaman rites in South America and other countries. The DMT is accessible as a street drug in Great Britain, and classified as a Class A substance, which provides the maximum sentence of 7 years in prison for its possession or life imprisonment for trafficking, reports The Guardian, Periscope.
The Regulatory Agency for Medicine and Health Care (MHRA) approved tests Monday.
It is hoped that the first tests will begin as early as January ' s and that 32 wholesome volunteers, including ecstasy or ketamine, would be involved. This will follow the test of 36 patients suffering from clinical depression.
In the case of DMT, the psycidelic experience comes faster and more intense, but it's even faster.
Past studies in ayacascan have suggested that this drink may have anti-depressive effects. /Periscope
